True 'tis that many different kinds of persons are around us. Some who have so many masks that they appear as though a many-faceted diamond glittering in the glorious rays of the sun. Some are as open as books, allowing anyone to read them. There are those who keep themselves within towering walls, isolating themselves from others. I am a mix of all of them. I daresay, I'm a complex person, but, to the people who know me well, I'm a simple man.
In early July, as the earth made its way around the sun, I was born. It was the 11th of the month and Pope John Paul II was in the Philippines. It had been one thousand, nine hundred and ninety five years since Jesus died. That day, my parents, Maximo and Virginia Baltao were blessed with a second child, I came eight years after my sister.
In lieu to Pope John Paul II's visit to the Philippines. My grandmother named me John Paulo. It was a pleasing name, and I hope I've lived up to it. Pope John Paul II for me was the advocate of global peace. He did not hesitate to go to any country and to help any person. He was a great man.
Ever since childhood, I've been fascinated with the heavenly bodies. To the extent of studying even age-old mythology. Such was my fascination with the stars that now, while studying in CSA-BiƱan, I am planning to take an astrophysics course.
It was with great surprise in my elementary days that the love of writing hit me. So far, I've created three intriguing plots, one might even be published in the future. Then again, I've been speaking the second language fluently since I was a child.
I also loved religion, I believe that God indeed has plans for everyone of us. I've been blessed with numerous talents and I believe that I must use them for the sake of others.
Back to my education, I can safely say that I surpassed many challenges and made it to the cream of the crop. Being in the so called "Star Section" has been the best experience of my life. I owe it all to my parents and friends, for being ever so supportive.
Now, as you can see, the title indicates a dragon. I suppose you're wondering, "Why?" A simple answer to a simple question. I prefer to liken myself to a dragon, persevering and kind. Although, I can also be fierce and inconsiderate. Other than that I simply adore the majestic creatures. One of the stories I made even revolves around them!
Well, so far, that's all I have to say. I tried to make this an artful post. I hope that's what happened.
